Current stage: back to noob-level math grind Learned for: ~5h Satisfied? Maybe

Returned to finish noob-level math grind (zero to calculus). I don’t like leaving things undone. Will try to learn it fast then proceed to practical coding.

Back to the basics:

  • picked up linear algebra again: focused on top-level concepts and math notation (e.g., the use of unit vectors and their relation to the cartesian coordinate system)
  • vectors, scalars: adding and subtracting, extracting components, and basic multiplication)
  • learned the difference between local vs global coordinate system
  • translation vs displacement (its relation)
  • read some productivity papers and stuff folks on here sent me

Tomorrow: matrices and hopefully start learning calculus.

Things I’ve done well today:

  • ate healthy + drank a ton of water
  • 10k steps (no gym) - enjoyed sunny weather
  • spent time with family and met new folks here on X

Things to avoid:

  1. Spending every second on X (it kills productivity)
